I have had so many amazing Christmas’s and after last years family reunion I wasn’t sure we could top it, but I must say even though it was small it was so special.
It kicked off on Christmas eve, when the elves left a Christmas eve box for Hunter and Kenzie, filled with bath goods and PJs and colouring books and new pens. The excitement mounted enjoying their gifts with the Christmas tree glowing.
The kids passed out early-ish on Christmas eve and woke up to Hunter hearing the sleigh land on the roof on Christmas morning. Kenzie literally plutzed seeing Santa in the garden on Christmas morning! We shouted to him and he gave us a few waves but he was in a rush, so we raced through to the lounge to see what he had left.
Christmas morning was spent with Blake and Robs who got up early to share in the excitement. We filled up on Eggy toast bake, swam and opened presents.
Lunch was served on time this year, and we shared crackers with Tannie Rie and Ouma.
It’s my favorite time of the year and I had a moment to reflect in just how blessed we are, I went to bed feeling extremely blessed.
Merry Christmas my babies!
